f22 is a group within the Association of Photographers which aims to grow the visibility of women and non-binary photographers; helping to re-balance the gender disparity within the photographic industry.
Last week the AOP announced that it’s total female membership has almost reached parity on gender equality at 47%, which is certainly news to celebrate!
So why is the f22 group still important?
Because we want to continue to grow the number of accredited/professional women photographers which is currently at 20%, by encouraging female students and assistants to achieve their goal of becoming professional photographers.
We want to champion YOU and your work, we want to help the AOP to shout about your work! To see what the f22 have been up to as well as current news and exciting happenings for the year ahead please read, click and enjoy.
