AOP Webinar on AI 101: Generative AI - What's It All About?

Wednesday 5 July 2023 @ 17:30 BST

In this webinar we aim to shed light on Generative AI – a rapidly expanding form of AI – from both a legal and knowledge-based perspective, to understand what separates it from Artificial General Intelligence, what impact it is having in our industry to date from a legal, technical and commercial industry perspective, and how it may shape the professional lives of photographers, image-makers and those working alongside.

Welcoming five special guests, we start with taking a 101 tour of Generative AI, looking at the legal framework in relation to copyright  and database rights, plus from a technical perspective looking at how generative AI works using datasets and machine learning.

We then take a deep dive into what’s currently happening in this rapidly changing  development. Our industry experts in their field of AI-development, copyright law, commissioning and photography, will be sharing their insights and experience.

Join our host Isabelle Doran, CEO, The AOP and guests for an insightful and inspirational session.
