Treatments workshop with Emma Hayes from Lucid Representation :

Every photographer working commercially these days, will have been asked for a treatment, along with their bid, when going for a job. If this request usually fills you with horror, or if you know you do an alright job, but could do it better – or you’ve never been asked for one but want to be prepared for the future, then this workshop is for you.

  • We’ll be looking at a live brief to show you how to make a treatment that nails the brief and showcases your work and style.
  • By the end of the workshop you should have an understanding of the basics of how to put together a treatment on your own.

Folio Reviews

Showing your work is crucial for feedback and for getting your name out there. We encourage all photographers to do this as much as they can – as such we are delighted to bring together the following panel of experts to provide folio reviews for our audience

  • Samia Ashraf – Peter Bailey
  • Patricia Taylor – Hearst Magazines UK
  • Seamus O’Cleary – Studio Pi
  • Hamish Crooks – AOP Chair / formerly Magnum

Bring folios and ideally prints if you can. If digital please ensure it is on something bigger than a mobile to allow for proper viewing.

Networking

Following both the talk and folio reviews there will be a little time for networking with light refreshments provided.
