Like many I struggle with the dark cold days of winter, if I don’t pay attention I’m prone to suffer from S.A.D/Winter depression so I eagerly look forward to the arrival of blossom and springtime when I truly awaken.
In spring of 2022, the first with no lockdown restrictions since the start of the pandemic, I went out into London to document people, consciously or not, practicing Hanami. It was so encouraging to see people mingling closely together appreciating the fleeting beauty of Sakura.
