Earlier this month I photographed a personal architectural series while visiting the Vietnamese island of Phú Quốc. I was drawn to the distressed colours of the walls and the ornate architectural features, complemented by the soft, late afternoon sunlight.
This series was shot on my iPhone, which allowed me to work quickly to capture the optimum light while it lasted. I found this approach liberating in contrast to my usual armoury of equipment. It certainly won’t replace my trusty workhorse but I’ll definitely consider using the iPhone again while on my travels.
