Brief:THE WORLD DESERVES WITNESSES
The Gold and Silver winners will have the work exhibited on aopawards.com, at our special AOP Awards Showcase in March 2022 and in the AOP Awards Book.
The Award recipient will have the opportunity to shoot their upcoming project on Leica equipment. Leica kit will be available to loan for a length of up to 6 weeks.
Enter work which documents the beauty and poetry of the world, and celebrates those capturing pivotal moments of history, or the fragility of our human condition through your own sensitivity and unique view.
The AOP is a not-for-profit organisation run by photographers for photographers. All profits go towards providing support for photographers including lobbying, promotion of best practice and the worth of photography and photographers everywhere.
Whatever your vocation, passion, course or age, we invite you to inspire us with your photography.
From the Oscars of the photography world; the AOP Photography Awards to celebration of our students through the AOP Student Awards to our new programme of new creative projects we have a programme of opportunity whatever your level or interest.
To celebrate this year’s Black History Month in October, Canary Wharf Arts + Events and the AOP are holding a special month-long exhibition at the Crossrail Place Roof Garden in Canary Wharf. We will be celebrating black culture both through images and the stories of the photographers who have taken them.
